ENVIRONMENTALLY SAFE TECHNOLOGY FOR PRODUCING MICROCRYSTALLINE CELLULOSE FROM DOMESTIC NONWOOD VEGETABLE RAW MATERIAL
Purpose of the development:
Microcrystalline cellulose from domestic plant materials (flax and hemp) is intended for the production of solid dosage forms in the pharmaceutical industry as an alternative to the imported more expensive microcrystalline cellulose from softwood and cotton.
Recommended application field:
The pharmaceutical industry.
Advantages over analogues:
Microcrystalline cellulose from domestic plant materials meets the best foreign analogues and the requirements of domestic and European pharmacopeias.
The development stage readiness:
Ready for application
Description of the development:
() Domestic pharmaceutical companies annually purchase tens of tons of imported microcrystalline cellulose. The production of microcrystalline cellulose from domestic plant materials partially solves the problem of import substitution, reduces the cost of the final product by 20-30%, and increases the competitiveness of the production of domestic medicinal tablets.
