Purpose of the development: The developed scheme will be applied in practice in wastewater treatment processes and will contribute to solving the problem of preserving aquatic ecosystems and supporting water quality.

Recommended application field: Industrial, agricultural and pharmaceutical production.

Advantages over analogues: The proposed technological scheme has successfully passed laboratory tests, having proved its high functionality and efficiency, characterized by modularity and high rate of destruction of toxicants due to the strait, it is know-how and does not have competitive world analogues and prototypes.

The circuit includes an autonomous water supply system based on a pump, an electrolyzer, and an integrated or external galvanostatic current source. The design of the electrolyzer is three series-connected diaphragm-free strait electrochemical cells with a coaxial arrangement of electrodes. The technological scheme includes a modular system of electrolyzers with oxide anodes, micromodified additives of various ions, with high catalytic activity and selectivity for electrochemical conversion depending on the functional group (halogen, nitro and amino groups). As a result of this, a single intermediate product is formed in the form of benzoquinones, which is destroyed on the final electrochemical modules first to non-toxic aliphatic compounds, and then (if necessary) to water and carbon dioxide. With the same basic chemical and physicochemical properties of oxide anodes, the change in their electrocatalytic activity and selectivity in the target processes occurred due to a variation in the nature and concentration of the ion additive, a surface micromodifier.
