Purpose of the development: For honing precision holes. The developed method can be implemented in existing technological processes for processing holes with a slight modernization of existing technological equipment.

Recommended application field: Machine-building enterprises, whose product range includes the following parts: housings, fuel and hydraulic equipment, cylinders and cylinder blocks of engines and axial piston pumps, compressors, hydraulic units and the like.

Advantages over analogues: The developed method of honing provides an identical intensity of removal of the allowance during translational and reverse movements of the cutting elements of the tool relative to the hole that is honed, which provides greater productivity of removal of the allowance and less wear of the cutting elements.
