Purpose of the development: The system is designed to create abstracts and multi-abstracts from electronic text documents on an end-user PC.

Recommended application field: News agencies and analytical centers that conduct open source analysis.

Technical characteristic: Technical requirements: Windows XP or later.

Advantages over analogues: Compared to other systems, Referator + is focused on working with English, Ukrainian and Russian languages. The combination of functionality for determining topics, terminological analysis, search for duplicates and a text editor provides quick and convenient use.

The system is implemented in a text editor interface. It can determine the subject of texts, carry out simple terminological analysis, select the desired thematic elements for abstracting on the topic. Finding duplicate elements in a set of documents has been implemented, which allows to build multi-abstracts (creating one abstract from several sources). The system supports an internal database of documents.
