VOLUME COORDINATE SWITCH WITH OPTICAL SWITCH

Advantages over analogues:
In known coordinate switches, when switching signals one time, n switching elements with n2 are involved. In order to minimize the number of switching elements of the coordinate switch located on its surface, its design has been optimized by reducing the number of rows and columns of the matrix and transferring the switching buses to parallel surfaces. As a result, a multilayer construction of the coordinate switch is obtained.

Description of the development:
() A switch is a matrix containing inputs and outputs. The area that it occupies is minimized thanks to its multi-layer design. Each of its layers consists of a dielectric with orthogonal buses placed on it, at the intersection points of which there is an optical connecting element common to all layers, made as an electro-optical switch.
