The main feature is the elastic profiles transformability - the ability to change the shape of their cross-section to a flat tape and reel or collect a compact roll. In this form, the profiles can be stored for a long time without changing the physical and mechanical properties. After unwinding, they acquire originally specified size and shape. The process of unwinding a roll profiles and unwinding from it can be repeated thousands of times. Size ratio in the unfolded and folded state in a given structural material is several tens. Produced elastic profiles are characterized by high strength, ductility, lightness, corrosion resistance, non-magnetic, have a high loading capacity in bending and torsion, capable of operating over a wide temperature range, have been successfully tested on spacecraft, orbiting and interplanetary stations. Using elastic profiles, you can create a variety of options to easily transformable robust construction, reliable and easy to operate. Grooved profiles can be used when creating a rod designs, compact when not in use and violent after their transfer to the operating position.
