Purpose of the development: The development can be used in medicine for sterilization of a surgical instrument, disinfection of medical equipment, in dental practice for teeth whitening and the treatment of stomatopathy and the like. There is also a chlorine-free bleaching agent and can be used as a bleaching additive for washing powders and detergents, it does not destroy dyes. Due to its low toxicity, it can be used to disinfect natural water.

Recommended application field: Food industry; medicine, in particular dentistry; production of detergents; textile industry.

Advantages over analogues: A simple method of obtaining from cheap and affordable raw materials is used. The product exhibits high disinfecting and whitening action, has low toxicity.

Development is a white crystalline product, soluble in water. It has high bactericidal activity, low toxicity and moderate corrosion ability. The production method is based on the interaction of magnesium oxide with hydrogen peroxide and phthalic anhydride in an aqueous medium, followed by crystallization, filtration and drying of the finished product. The production process is carried out on a flow chart of periodic action and consists of 5 technological stages.
