Purpose of the development: It is intended for the production of biologically active additives based on selenium-enriched cultures of lactobacilli and bifidobacteria, in which selenium is in organic form.

Recommended application field: Microbiological industry enterprises.

Technical characteristic: Selenium-containing dietary supplements "Selenolact" (with the content of lactobacilli 2.0x1000000000 CFU / cm3 of organic selenium 195 ± 1 g / g) "Bifisel" (with bifidobacteria 4.4x1000000 CFU / cm3 of organic selenium 200 ± 1 g / g) "Selenobifilact" (with the content of lactobacilli 1.0x1000000000 CFU / cm3, bifidobacteria - 1.2x100000000 CFU / cm3 of organic selenium 202.5 ± 1 g / g).

Advantages over analogues: The use of several cultures of microorganisms (lactobacilli and bifidobacteria) and their cultivation on a corn-lactose medium and a medium with curd whey; cultivation of bifidobacteria is carried out without the addition of agar-agar.

The rational use of Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium bifidum cultures for the production of selenium-containing dietary supplements is justified. It has been established that sodium selenite (Na2 SeO3) is an optimal source of inorganic selenium, the addition of which to the cultivation medium ensures its maximum accumulation and biotransformation. It was determined that the optimal concentration of Na2 SeO3, does not inhibit the growth of biomass of lacto- and bifidobacteria, is 0.5-5 g / cm3. The direct relationship between the content of inorganic Na2 SeO3 in the cultivation medium and the content of organic selenium in the biomass of the studied microorganisms was determined.
