Purpose of the development: For utilization in pneumatic machines for collection of vermins of agricultural plants.

Recommended application field: Agricultural mechanical engineering

Technical characteristic: The device consists of a base machine, a starage tank, a transporting, a ventilator and a cyclone. The device for the account of amount and mass of the collected Colorado beetles is set into the air lead, which consists of a sensory element – a piezoelement and the registration meters.

Advantages over analogues: The efficient determination of indexes of amount and mass of the Colorado beetles is with the object of efficiency of chemical defence of plants.

Technical and economic effect: Economy of time of determining the amount of vermins and the optimum amount of means of defence of plants.

Description of the development:

During moving of a machine along the lines of the potato field, air which takes with itself vermins from plants and is given with to the cyclones is sucked in. There beetles move away from air. Passing through the registration device, due to the force of sluggishness an amount and mass of vermins is set.
