This technology makes it possible to obtain a polymer of sulfur, sodium thiosulfate solution, which are formed during the purification coconut, natural and technological gases from hydrogen sulphide. Polymeric sulfur is used as vulcanizing agent in the tire and rubber field, civil and road construction. It is expressed by the radiation-protective properties. The process includes the following main process stages: acidic sodium thiosulfate schedule strong mineral acid to yield a polymer sulfur stabilization and crystallisation; washing and drying of the product. During use, as an acid chloride acid addition product is obtained - highly concentrated sulfur (IV) oxide, which is used as a preservative of agricultural products; while using nitric acid by-product is sodium sulfate, which is used in the construction industry for improving the properties of concrete products. Characteristics of the resulting polymeric sulfur meet the technical requirements. The use of polymeric sulfur in the tire and rubber areas provides improved workflow and sanitary conditions of production; improving the characteristics of rubber products and their lifetime. The proposed technology allows the processing of large-tonnage waste solutions of sodium thiosulfate, which entail pollution of natural waters, and today hardly utilized.
