AC POWER GENERATORS OF MAGNETOELECTRIC EXCITATION


Purpose of the development: Intended to supply autonomous wind power.

Technical characteristic: Developed a three-phase electric generator power 6.0 kW for gearless wind farm, created by JSC "Galich mechanical plant": - Nominal frequency of revolution of the generator - 140 rev / min .; - The frequency range of treatment - from 20 to 160 rev / min .; - The minimum wind speed at which begins to rotate carminative - 2.5 m / s.

Analysis of the existing wind farm schemes (WEC) indicates that the most rational system of converting wind energy has a direct-drive station. The undoubted benefits of wind farm have to enroll an important extension of the range of operating wind speeds, through the use of low-intensity winds, the highest efficiency, high reliability, increased warranty period and lower operating costs. The creation of such wind farm requires the use of special low-speed electric generator, non-mechanical stabilizers conversion rate carminative and innovative approaches to ensuring the quality of electricity that they produce. Along the last few years are intensive scientific research and carry out development activities aimed at creating a replacement generator excitation current magneto intended for stand-alone wind power from 50 W to 30 kW. The generator has a front three-phase alternating current electrical machines with permanent magnet excitation. The stator winding consists of 36 coils mounted on a twisted U-shaped magnetic cores evenly spaced on the sprouts. The machine applied uncrossed coil, which ensures high reliability and a small generator complexity of manufacturing. The machine is made without their own bearings, which makes it possible to avoid the use of couplings needed to connect the generator with a carminative. Generator stator is mounted on the immovable part of positioner WEC, and a rotor with permanent magnets - its rotating part.
