Purpose of the development: ELECTROTECHNICAL of PBS-1 are designed to protect voltage transformers at substations type NKF 110ch 500 kV power stations and power systems from the effects of possible ferroresonance processes.

Advantages over analogues: Existing protection devices perform suppression of ferroresonance processes after they are identified. However, no known devices that operate on this principle in existing power grids. The proposed device used a new approach to solving this problem - preventing the emergence of ferroresonance processes that could damage the voltage transformers.
