Purpose of the development: Designed for protection of machine parts and equipment that operate in harsh environments, as well as in friction wear-resistant and anti-friction coating.

Recommended application field: Development can be realized by enterprises and organizations of the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine and private industry.

Advantages over analogues: Comparative analysis shows that the technology has several advantages over similar products, so as to obtain permits metal coatings, which have a higher resistance to corrosion and mechanical wear in corrosion-active media in abrasive impact and longer term protection of steel products.

The development stage readiness: Tested experimental exploitation order

Technical and economic effect: The economic advantages of the technology is based on a lower cost of the proposed metal coatings, lower cost of electricity and low labor costs. The cost of 1 m square. coverage is $ 4.2, which is significantly below the value of the coverage by analogy. The technology can be used in existing electroplating shops and sites.

The technology developed allows to obtain the coating based on alloys of chromium, cadmium, copper, nickel and others. The composition of elements vary depending on purpose. The coating thickness of 10-100 microns. Coatings resistant to aqueous solutions of acids, salts, alkalis, and in the presence of chlorine compounds, sulfur, seawater and other corrosive agents. Metal coating is used to protect the machine parts and equipment that operate in harsh environments, as well as in friction wear-resistant and anti-friction coating. The microhardness of the coating 0.6-10 GPa, depending on the composition of the metal coating.
