TECHNOLOGY FOR COMBINED TREATMENT OF IRON IN THE POURING LADLE
Purpose of the development:
For simultaneous desulfurization Desiliconization and processing iron in ladle melt by blowing oxygen-fuel jets.
Recommended application field:
Metallurgical industry.
Advantages over analogues:
In metallurgical practice and CIS countries zagrubezhnyh proposed technology integrated cast iron does not exist. Iron processing technology provides: removing silicon 0.8-1.0 to 0.15-0.3% sulfur and 0.04-0.06 to 0.003%; cost reduction based desulfurizing lime mixture is 15-20%; reduced costs for the heat treatment of 5-10 ° C; cost reduction lime at BOF melting at 20-30kg / t constant, increasing the yield of 0.8-1.4% metal; the use of existing equipment vnedomennoy desulphurization in ladles.

() Scientists have developed a technology cast iron, while Desiliconization and desulphurization in the processing of iron ladle melt by blowing oxygen-fuel jets that carry powdered desulfurizer as a mixture of lime and aluminum. Development of laboratory tested and is under implementation on the Kola MMC "Krivorozhstal".
