METHOD FOR PROCESSING OF OXIDATIVE MANGANESE SLIME


Purpose of the development: Getting low phosphorous manganese concentrates.

Recommended application field: Environmental protection, construction, iron and steel industry.

Advantages over analogues: Advantage particularly biotechnological process is leaching of manganese that are subject to sludge processing mineral composition of different sizes with a minimum content of metals in the process is carried out under mild conditions (atmospheric pressure, weak acidic medium temperature 30grad.S 25), which significantly reduces the negative impact on the environment which occurs, for example, by chemical leaching.

One of the modern trends of industrial waste disposal is, the development of biotechnological methods leaching of manganese from man-made materials. The principle of the proposed technology is that the metabolites of heterotrophic microorganisms oxidizing manganese compound complexes and translate them into a solution. From the solution of the manganese compound in weakly alkaline media upsets as Mn (OH) 2, which then under the action of atmospheric oxygen enters Mn (OH) 3 upon heating to Mn2, which is the main component of the manganese concentrate. Phosphorus compounds which are present in the sludge are also dissolved in the microbial metabolites, and planted with Mn (OH) 2 to a lesser extent, which leads to a significant decrease of relative content of phosphorus in the final product, namely, the ratio P / Mn in the concentrate is <0.002 for contents of Mn> 45%, which corresponds to the oxidation of manganese concentrate quality grade A. The final products of the proposed technology has manganese concentrate biomass of microorganisms, which redesigns in mass concrete plasticizer and cake, which can be employed as a building material. Thus, after oxidation of manganese sludge processing by the proposed technology can be totally recycled manganese sludge exempt land area on which were located slurry pits stops pollution of manganese dust. The main processing steps: 1. Obtaining alkaline solutions 2. Dissolution of manganese compounds 3. Receive manganese concentrate 4. Recycling biomass plasticizers concrete mass.
