Purpose of the development: Determination of iron for economic production in a standard foundry engineering enterprise piston rings FEP.

Recommended application field: Enterprise engineering and metallurgical industries.

Advantages over analogues: Used complex technical and technological solutions allows to produce steel piston rings, which are not inferior to those of their foreign counterparts, and cost 15-20% lower. So, for engines of agricultural machinery is provided: - Motoresurs from 8.0 to 12.0 thousand hours; - The cost of fuel from 162 to 175 g / KS. hour; - Costs oil consumption within 0.2-0.4% of the fuel costs.

The development stage readiness: Introduced in production

Technical and economic effect: Using the above patents on inventions allowed to reduce the volume of an iron foundry at the factory and, through this, to improve the working conditions of workers and the environment at the enterprise.

The proposed technology developed by scientists of "OZPK" together with HMI them. ZI Nekrasov NAS aimed at creating economic basis for the production of cast iron under standard foundry engineering enterprise combustion engine piston rings, using optimal amounts of inexpensive and not scarce alloying elements which provide the optimal association of physical and mechanical, technological and operational properties. The authors have proposed the development of special steel, metal forming by rolling in the non-drawing roller portage combined with clean-heat treatment without the use of harmful coolants, ie oils, molten lead, and salts of acids. Technology of production of high-profile (ribbons), including fittings, using the rolling-drawing designed to equal "know-how" and provides a profile accuracy within ± 0,01 mm. For steel piston rings for JSC "OZPK" since 2002 used material patent number 56026 "Steel piston ring," which allowed for complex physical, mechanical, technological and operational properties of the piston rings. Using the 2003 invention patent number 64642 "Piston Ring" will expand the range of steel piston rings, which produce, as well as to reduce their weight and material.
