BIOGAS INSTALLATION FOR WASTE OF SUGAR PRODUCTION


Purpose of the development: Energy production and organic fertilizers from waste from sugar production.

Technical and economic effect: The introduction of such a facility permit to ensure that: - Production of high quality organic fertilizers; - Significant improvement of sanitary and hygienic conditions in the workplace, improve working and living conditions of residents around the sugar factory; - Reduction of production costs due to energy produced in the biogas installation.

Description of the development:

Feedstock installation has waste from sugar production (pulp). In a closed digester with insufficient supply of oxygen from the environment develop anaerobic bacteria that exist due to the decomposition of carbohydrates. As a result of anaerobic fermentation and biogas is formed pulp otfermentovanaya mass (sludge). The biogas plant is a set of equipment which is: digester, gasholder, pipeline system and warning valves. The biogas - a mixture of methane, carbon dioxide dil fluid and suspended particles. The energy which is obtained by burning biogas can reach 60 to 90% of the original, which has a dry starting material. Installation processes per night 570 tons of waste (bagasse). Making biogas a day is about 102,600 cubic meters. Digester volume of 2508 cubic meters, the number of them - three. Volume of 5000 cubic meters of the gas tank. Biomass comes from sugar factory in three loading hopper and fed on three digester where wanders in thermophilic conditions for 11 days. Biomass digesters continuously stirred and heated additional heat that comes from a diesel generator set. Digestion tanks loaded three times a day. The resultant gas is 60-70% methane. The biogas is collected and fed to the low pressure gas container volume of 5000 cubic meters. Further constrain its compressor to 0.4 MPa and fed into the diesel generator, which receive electrical energy. Developed a biogas plant demonstrates a complex system of processing and disposal of organic waste from sugar production, which reduces the environmental problem and uses the renewable energy sources.
