Purpose of the development: Diagnosis prone soils during soil surveys, land surveying and evaluating the work.

Recommended application field: Soil Science.

Technical characteristic: Due to the resulting patterns proportioning profile structure regardless of the total power profile for all developed very prone soils, except for soils with a capacity of <50 cm, is uniquely determined by the genetic identity of soils.

Advantages over analogues: Existing methodology for the genetic status of the soil was determined in comparison to the capacity of soil slopes and watersheds, which led to the erroneous determination of a large amount of land as erosion-prone. In our improved method for the genetic status of criterion ratios are sum of the powers of the upper horizons of transition to the total power profile that allows uniquely identify a genetic affiliation grounds, their erodovanost, improve accuracy, reduce the complexity and uncertainty, which are due to subjective factors.

Technical and economic effect: Proposed method of diagnosing prone soils, compared the ratio of the upper horizon (humus and two transient) and a total capacity of virgin and arable soils, supplemented typology prone soils power provides unambiguous identification prone soils.
