Recommended application field: The objects of the environment, food, feed, water, radioactive solutions, air filters, exemplary sources of beta radiation, both in native samples and in samples after radiochemical concentration.

Using the methods of radionuclides concentration significantly increases the sensitivity of the method. The separate determination of Sr-90 and Y-90 is possible, what allows to measure the counting samples immediately after the radiochemical separation of Sr-90, without waiting for equilibrium (2 weeks).The device is intended for the work in two modes: a laboratory - for conducting expert studies and express - mode, for determination of not exceeding the permissible levels on all controlled radionuclides simultaneously. The volume of the sample does not exceed 160 ml.COMPOSITIONo Scintillation detection unit of beta-radiation with a diameter of 150 mm.o Passive low-background combined protection of the detector (steel+lead).o Spectrometric ADC as the structural IBM.o Regulated power supply.o Personal IBM-compatible computer with printer (the configuration in agreement with the customer).o Uninterruptible Power Supply.o Set of measuring cells.o Software "AKWin".Software "AKWin" operates in Windows and supports "plag and play", which identifiers RPE "AKP" have officially got at a company Microsoft.The purpose of the software "AKWin": measurements control, the processing of the obtained spectra for the determination of the contained in the measured samples radionuclides and their specific/absolute activity, documenting the processing results, provision of different calibrations of the spectrometer, save of the spectra.The short "instructions to the operator" for different tasks of monitoring and measurements in addition to the full documentation allows to cope quickly with the measurement of new operators.What ensures quality by the use of "AKWin:o Correct calculation and errors account.o Automatic and interactive control of the background.o Checking of the efficiency of the control sample.o Checking the quality of the decomposition of the spectrum on the functions' response.o Autocalibration of the energy.o Autocalibration of efficiency.o Issuance of text messages to the operator.o Ability to implement continuous information technology: "measurement - processing of the spectrum - the transfer of results into the database".СЕБ-01-150 is the only device that allows to monitor simultaneously a concentration of Sr-90, Сs-137 and K-40 in the measured samples without usage of radiochemical methods and physical concentration.The Central State Laboratory of Veterinary Medicine of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine has given the opinion letter about the experimental operation of spectrometer of energy beta radiation СЕБ-01-150, where the following conclusions are made:"The spectrometer of energy beta radiation СЕБ-01-150 can be recommended for practical use in the laboratories of Veterinary Medicine in Ukraine for the radiological control of the objects of veterinary surveillance, food, etc., in which we can measure Sr-90 native material, if possible or by concentrating the samples".The spectrometers of energy beta radiation СЕБ-01-150 are listed in the State register of measurement instruments of Ukraine, Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus.
