Optically bleaching agents similar in their service properties to best world analogues have been developed. The optically bleaching agents represent bis(5-alkylbenzoxazole-2-il)aryls formed though condensation of aromatic diacids with alkyl-aminophenols. The optical bleaching agent OPB-1 (RB Technical Specifications 14532025.005-98) is employed to bleach polyester, polyamide, polyarcylonitrile, and other polymers and is synthesized on the basis of Belarussian raw materials.
