The development stage readiness: Tested experimental exploitation order

At the present time it is nearly impossible to produce diesel engines with the rated power mode control. In this connection research has been carried out and the theoretical foundation of the new method of power control has been given. New solutions that will allow to maintain the nominal power mode within a narrow range of engine revolutions have been found. The use of diesel engines with the proposed mode of power control, installed on different machines, will significantly increase their performance indices. For example, the use of diesel engines in agriculturaltractjrs and road-building vehicles will increase their productivity by 20-25%. When used in automotive vehicles, it is expected to lead to improvement of their performance and increase of average speed.
