Purpose of the development: Improvement of clock parts quality.

Technical characteristic: Coating characteristics: - Depth, mcm 0,3 - 0,5; - Firmness, GPa 60; - Wear resistance, mm[3]/(N-m) 3х10[-7]; - Friction factor for steel 0,05 - 0,1.

Advantages over analogues: The coatings prevent pinion premature wear, reduce the probability of jamming, increase the clock life span. Steel plate washers with diamond-like coating are used to replace in the watch antithrust balance mechanism.

Description of the development:

By means of vacuum arc cathode plating diamond-like carbon coatings are applied on pinion axes of clockworks, plate washers in the watch anti-thrust balance mechanism using the method of group application.
