ARCWELDING DEPOSITION WITH STATIONARY FUSING ELECTRODE USING POWDER FILLERS


Purpose of the development: Repair and reconditioning of road building machines.

Technical characteristic: Technical characteristics: - Welding deposition process capacity, kg/h 4-8; - Rated welding current, A 400-800; - Rated service voltage, V 30-50.

Advantages over analogues: As compared witch manual arch welding deposition with coated electrodes it ensures: - economy of the welding materials of 20-30% due to reducing allowance for fused surface machining and manufacturing SFE from lowcarbon steel sheets; - reduction of power consumption by 20-30% due to increase of welding deposition coefficient; - increase of welding deposition of parts 2-2,5 times; - reduction of production costs of parts reconditioning by 20-30%.

The technological process of arch welding deposition with stationary fusing electrode (SFE) using powder fillers (PF) (SFE from steel (2, 3 and 4 mm thick, 10 and 20 mm wide), PF FBH-6-2, welding flux grade 348A) allows to obtainhigh-grade fused beads with homogeneous structure up to 30 mm wide and 5 mm high. Adding PF to the molten pool prowides coatings with characteristics (hardness of added metal HRC 30-52) required for parts of trackc hassis.
