TRANSFER OF INNOVATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES

ANALYSIS OF REMOTE SENSING DATA (RSD) BY MEANS OF GEOINFORMATION SYSTEMS (GIS)

Purpose of the development: Space monitiring (SM) of trans border emergency situations, formation of regional GIS and geo-snformation sources on base of remote sensing data for solution of geoecological problems of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Recommended application field: Main research lines: - SM of state of the Earth's surface objects on base of satellite photographs and GPS technologies (aqueous entities, roads, earth's covering, forestry, inundated areas); - SM of trans border emergency situations on base of RSD; - optimization of the spatial network of tachnological installations of oil-and-gas enterprises, taking into account their remoteness from the populated areas, roads, geological engineering conditions, characteristics of the locality; - metodology and methods of control of largescale, complex bases of RS geo-data; - desing and creation of regional GIS-projects of SM of industrial agglomerations and urbanized territories of the RK employing RS.

Advantages over analogues: Possibility of rapid transfer from preliminary working and subject deciphering to fulfillment of simulation operations and spatial analysis by means of geo-information systems (integration into GIS).

The development stage readiness: The working documentation is developed

Description of the development:
()
Intensively developing modern GIS and RS are acknowledged as one of the universal integrated information-technological means for solution of different regional geo-ecological problems. GIS integrate the technologies of work with the RS databases, procedures of mathematical analysis and methods of dwscriptive-cartographic presentation of the results in connection with the tasks of accumulation, processing and presentation of the diffused (geospatial) information. This information is frequently decisive for guaranteeing of social and economical development of a region, planning and management of territiries. GIS-technologies ensure the uniform (spatial) unification of such information and its combined use. RSD in GIS is a collection of subject layers, with each of them containing cartographic images of objects and the respective tabulated data. All the information has united geographical tie (latitude and length) in a specific projection, which ensures global interrelation between the objects.
