METHOD OF STEEL STRIP COATING WITH ANTIFRICTION POWDER MIXTURE

Obtaining on steel strip of poweder coatings with high plasticity and thickness of 0,25 mm and more and of antifriction powder coating of Al-Pb system.

Description of the development:
() The technology consists in joint rolling and heat treatment in the deformation area of steel strip and antifriction powder chage by transmitting electric current between the rollers through the foliated system being rolled. The mathematical model of the joint roll compacting of powder and nonporous material has been developed, and way to prevent defects formation in the powder coating have been worked out. Dependence of the ferro-aluminide layer thickness in steel strip with aluminum powder coating has been established, which determines plasticity of the copating and the layer abhesion strength on the rolling deformation degree and heating rate during heat treatment. There has been developed technology of steel strip coating with aluminum powder and a method of steel strip coating with Al-Pb antifriction powder mixture.
