Purpose of the development: Intended for rapid determination of total hemoglobin in the blood of human or animal, and observing the dynamics of its change.

Recommended application field: Medicine

Technical characteristic: - range of the defined values of hemoglobin concentration from 50 to 250 grams per liter of blood;- determining time from 30 seconds to 5 minutes depending on the number of counts.

Advantages over analogues: -determination of hemoglobin is produced without blood sample (noninvasive), painless;-there is no danger of infection;-first choice, if necessary to monitor quickly the dynamics of change of hemoglobin in blood due to blood loss, in case of poisoning, in the course of treatment, hunger strike, with heavy physical exertion, etc.

Principle of operation is based on determining of the level of absorption is characteristic for the hemoglobin region and comparison it with the reference signal.The breadboard model is produced, tests are made."HEMOTEST" meets international requirements for medical equipment (МЭК 601,ч.1; ДСТ 12.2.028-76).Cooperation proposals:- joint patenting;- mobilization of investments for further development and production organization.
