The description-measuring system (IMS) in its automated form accomplishes collection, storage, transfer and release to customers of petroleum products, collection and analysis of data about the state of technological parameters, periodictesting of the state of a technological object using contemporary technical complex control means. The measuring system can be considered as an object of low-level hierarchic structure PTK, which suplies the State Petroleum Company with petroleum. Simultaneously it is an information source for the higher level system. IMS consist of two free fuctional systems: - a system for automated calculation of financial-economic activity, solution of the basic planning problems; - a system for technological processes control. Both systems are in the information contact: the second system establishes liminations for the first, and the first system, in its turn, composes an information source for solution of problems of the second system. The basic fuctions of IMS for oil terminals include: - accouting of production; - accounting of losses; - automated check of the reservoirs filling level; - quick accounting of dynamics and state of the oil transfer; - operational expenditures control (except losses); - improvement of efficiency of transportation means used for oil transportation.
