ELECTROPULSE FLOWABLE FOOD PROCESSING TECHNOLOGY
Purpose of the development:
Electropulse for decontaminating liquid handling
Recommended application field:
food processing industry
Advantages over analogues:
In comparison with the thermal processes ( pasteurization, high-temperature sterilization , etc. ) a method of electro machining has lower specific energy consumption , no need of heating to pasteurization temperature at the same degree of microbiological decontamination is achieved by the combined action of electromagnetic field and an elevated temperature (but considerably less than heat treatment ) . Unlike the methods of processing products using ionizing radiation or chemical additives ( e.g. , preservatives ) , no potential negative side effects on the treated product .

Description of the development:
() This technology allows electropulse decontamination treatment of liquids , flowable foods ( water, milk, wine and wine , fruit and vegetable juices , etc.) and provides a high level of energy saving, high power density and high competitiveness .
Electropulse flowable products processing technology refers to the so -called "cold " pasteurization technology , the essence of which is the use of high-voltage electrical discharges of microsecond duration . The main active processing factors are temperature and microsecond pulsed electromagnetic field with a strength of more than 25 kV / cm. Processing of the product takes place at temperatures of 45-60 ° C and is very effective : ~ 99 % of the microorganisms are destroyed , and all useful for human and vitamins remain virtually unchanged, traces of electrolysis in the treated product no . Specific energy consumption for processing - 7.10 kWh/m3 product ( depending on the required processing power and the performance of the heat exchanger ) .
Loss of vitamins , % :
o In - 0-2,

o B12 - 0-2
o C - 0-1 .
