UPGRADED 4P-GAMMA SPECTROMETER WITH LARGE DISPLACEMENT "PRIPYAT-2P"


Purpose of the development: For measuring ionizing radiation.

Recommended application field: Environmental protection. Ecology.

Advantages over analogues: Complete analogy not exceed GSC-AT1320 (ATOMTEX) and GAMMA-1C (ASPECT, Russia). Spectrometers "Pripyat" do not pollute the environment at work.

The development stage readiness: Introduced in production

Technical and economic effect: Complete modernization of Pripyat spectrometers. Advantages: 4n-geometry registration, simplifies sample preparation, high degree of automation settings (range, thresholds, zero mixing, multiple matches); amplitude and timing analysis (coincidentally); account the density and size of the sample; rapid measurement (with radiometric mode); high functionality software.

Control over the content of natural and artificial radionuclides (137Cs, 40K, 226Ra, 232Th and others) in the environment , the definition of radon activity concentration in the air of residential and office space , the flux density ( exhalation ) of radon from the ground and building structures . A new system of registration for shestikristalnogo gamma-ray spectrometer "Pripyat" and software. Developed a method of measuring samples in countable Range of measured specific activity : o 137Cs from 1 Bq / kg , o 226Ra 1 Bq / kg , o 232Th 1 Bq / kg , o 40K 10 Bq / kg , o 222Rn from 10Bk/m3 Measured radionuclide composition can be expanded . o rapidity (minimum measurement time . depends on the accuracy of the sample and activity ) of 10 o capacity ( the maximum number of measurements per hour , excluding time for sample preparation ) to 100 o Orient . cost of the new spectrometer - 80 million rubles . Made 2 registration system. 1 customized registration system . Required volume of investments : 80 million. Payback period: 5 years.
