LASER SPECTRUM ANALYZER (LSA)
Purpose of the development:
To measure the composition and physico-chemical properties of substances and materials
Recommended application field:
Research, chemical composition of any solid materials by plasma emission atomic spectra.
Technical characteristic:
o the measured concentration of the chemical elements in solid samples (error 7.3%) - 0.001% and above;
o automated mode pulsed laser source-periodic 1-10 Hz;
o double-laser pulses;
o change the time interval between pulses -. 0 to 140 ms;
o duration of each pulse - 10-12 ns;
o Energy - 1064 mJ;
o precision imaging area of laser exposure and its automated positioning -0.01 mm;
o Power consumption, not more than 750 watts.
Advantages over analogues:
Laser Analyzer allows without prior sample preparation to analyze both conducting and non-conducting materials, to solve the problems of local and stratified analysis to investigate toxic and hygroscopic materials placed in closed glass container.
The development stage readiness:
Introduced in production
Description of the development:
() Determination of the chemical composition of any solid materials from the emission spectra of atomic plasma formed under the influence of a focused laser beam on the sample surface .
LSA includes two pulse frequency Q-switched laser , optical- mechanical unit with a microscope , camera and software- controlled the stage, the registration system based on CCD arrays , software. Corresponds to the level counterparts. The system operates in equipment center for collective use IMAF NASB.
