Purpose of the development: Ultrasonic inspection of defects in welded lap joints of plastic pipes while assembling the hot and cold water and gas supply systems.

Recommended application field: Utilities.

Technical characteristic: Specifications: - The pulse frequency is not less than 100 Hz; - The amplitude of the pulse generator is not less than 100 V; - Operating voltage -12 ± 1,3 (constant current) V; - Diameter pipe controlled - 9.20 mm; - Weight, not more than 1.5 kg; - Dimensions, not more than 160x135x260 mm.

Advantages over analogues: Compactness, low weight and size, easy to work in field conditions; requires no special training to set up and in operation; has high reliability and durability; safe operation (not require electrical power to high voltage).

The device consists of the following main components : the electronic unit ( control panel , the control pulse generator , receiver amplifier ); primary device ; equipment for optimal positioning transmitter during checkout and remove the effects of ultrasound on the contact body of the operator . Controls on lap welded pipe connection experimental batch of plastic pipes of 40 mm using a prototype device and methods of control . On request a consumer can make the required number of devices and assist in training personnel and implementing instruments in production.
