UNIVERSAL EXPERIMENTAL COMPLEX SHS
Purpose of the development:
To measure the composition and physico-chemical properties of substances and materials
Recommended application field:
Metallurgy. Research in the field of SHS refractory compounds (carbides, nitrides, borides, silicides, intermetallics, etc.) in the solid phase and mode of filtration combustion.
Technical characteristic:
o SHS reactor volume - 4.5 0.1 l;
o range of temperatures up to 2500 ° C;
o maximum working pressure up to 2.5 MPa;
o temperature of the pre-heating the sample to 800 ± 10 ° C;
o mass simultaneously feed material for the synthesis of up to 0.3 kg;
o maximum power consumption - 3 kW.

Universal experimental complex of self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) includes experimental reactor , PVEM for data collection and processing , vacuum rotary machine , digital camera, module control and diagnostics , remote control device for preheating. Eksperimentapny reactor consists of a casing, cover , drag the shutter . Its cover electric inputs for connecting the means of initiation reaction and thermal sensors . Housing is provided with connection for cooling systems, vacuum and gas filling reagents windows for visual observation and photographic process synthesis.
The results of measuring the output parameters PVEM processed using special software. Corresponds to the best world standards , has no domestic counterparts . Complex provides an opportunity to carry out experimental work on the CBC and the kinetics of the synthesis of refractory compounds ( carbides, nitrides , borides , silicides , intermetallics , etc.) in the solid phase and mode of filtration combustion , as well as measure four channels of physical parameters , conduct visual surveillance or photographic process , maintain constant pressure and controlled atmosphere in the reaction chamber .
