Osteogel - drug based nanocrystalline hydro ksiapatita ( calcium phosphate) , intended for implantation into bone tissue to activate the osteoreparative processes. Has an increased capacity to be transformed into a biological environment of calcium and phosphate ions , which provides a better absorption of these ions in a bone wound (less zhotlomkovaya area at fractures , bone cavity defect sekvestralnaya cavity , etc.). Calcium reduces the permeability of cell membranes and vascular wall , prevents the development of inflammatory reactions. Calcium ions are involved in the transmission of nerve impulses, blood clotting , and other physiological processes. Osteogel promotes healing of bone injuries , forming functionally and structurally full osteoregenerata on the type of primary bone healing wounds. Use of the drug allows for reducing the duration of pain in the postoperative period and contributes to the speedy elimination of edema in all categories of patients. The drug is most effective in the treatment of non-united fractures and pseudoarthrosis
