HEAT-RESISTANT CERAMIC MATERIAL BASED ON ALUMINUM OXIDE
Purpose of the development:
For the use in the welding power source.
Recommended application field:
Enterprises electrical, metallurgical and engineering industries.
Technical characteristic:
o compressive strength - 1200-1600 MPa;
o ratio of fracture toughness - 3.0-4.0 MPa * m1 / 2;
o breakdown voltage -10-15 kV / mm;
o the cost of insulating sleeves developed material is 5-7 dollars. Per 1 kg.
Advantages over analogues:
Material on their complex physical, mechanical, and thermal properties of electro close to Western European counterparts. At a cost of 1.3-2.1 times cheaper than in the EEA firm "CeramTes" (Sweden). Material and technology compliant with best analogues CIS. Process for producing ceramic grommets is environmentally friendly.

Designed equipment, process and heat-resistant materials allow to obtain products with high levels of physical, mechanical, and electro-thermal properties, which will save foreign exchange by refusing to import, increase the efficiency of the power supply of welding machines and provide the domestic market Belarusian various heat-resistant ceramics range.
Description of the development:
() Developed heat-resistant ceramic material based on aluminum oxide with high physical-mechanical, electro-thermal properties and blocks the welding power source. Designed equipment, process and technical conditions for the manufacture of ceramic grommets and other refractory products. Disbursed pilot production and organized production of ceramic insulating sleeves for power welders.
