Purpose of the development: Continuous monitoring of gamma-ray photons.

Recommended application field: Operating in extreme conditions (under water in tanks filled with opaque oil on board spacecraft).

Technical characteristic: Energy range 40 keV - 1 MeV; power supply requirements: voltage 15 - 8 V, load current - 1 mA; battery duration of continuous operation from a single battery "Krona" 600 hours; finding with certainty 60% for 1s excess photon flux above the level of 137Cs, which creates a dose of 0.5 mSv / h (50 mR / h).

Advantages over analogues: Increasing efficiency measurements under conditions that require a decision (at the customs office, scrap metal items, ground work in the contaminated area).

Description of the development:

Detector Na (Ta) (d = 25 mm, h = 45 mm), a photomultiplier, stabilized power supply, processing unit, the battery "Krona". Cylinder 45 mm diameter, 150 mm in height, weighing 0.5 kg.
