TRANSFER OF INNOVATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES

WJVEN SAND NON-WOVEN FABRICS BONDING USING A THERMOPLASTIC ADHESIVE NET


Purpose of the development: Automative, shoe-making, paper, leather and haberdashery, furniture, and clothing indries. Fabrics and leather bonding, gluing of paper and wood veneer,glass fabric, foil, polymer films; constant fixsation of applique, embroidery, labels.

Advantages over analogues: The technical effect is achieved due to universality of the developed unit (wide range of adjustment of heating intensity, speed of the fabric, pressure of the rollers, and a wide choice of binders), which allows for production of environmentally safe materials for different purposes and with a broad range of properties. The proposed technology is competitive with foreign analogues and 1,5 times less expensive; it provides annual output of approximately 1 million m[2] of laminated fabric. No harmful substances are emitted during bonding and usage, the advesive composition features high strength, gas permeability and elasticity of the bonded structure. The technology allows to give up import of a range of foreign adhesive analogues. The technology is ready for practical implementation, and tentative specifications of the adhesive net manufacture have been drafted.

The technology is intended for bonding with the aid of polymeric glue-fusions of different cloths, carpet articles and non-woven materials, and also for polymeric coatings application. Thermoplastic glue grid on the basis of polyethylene and its copolymers, polypropylene, polyamide, polyesters is used as the glue material. It is used as a basis for a material with regular a thermoplastic glue coating, which is a textile or non-woven fabric with a one-sided or bilateral coating from the glue grid. The bonding unit consists of an IR-heating furnace, a roller machine, winding and a receiving device. The substrate fabric coated with the tchermoplastic adhesive net is delivered from the winding device to the IR-furnace where the polymer binder is melted and fed into the gap between the press rollers, getting joined to the top layer of the fabric, after which the finished laminated fabric is reeled through a pair of draw rollers into a finishtd laminated fabric is reeled though a pair of draw rollers into a finished prouct roll on the receiving device. Heating intensity and bonding rate are adjusted by the control board.
