Advantages over analogues: High reliability of the mechanism and increase in its operatin life span. Guaranteed uniformity of the rotor operating speed needed for precise control systems. Essential simplification of the motor construction and reduction of operation costs. Distinctive features: decreased mass-dimension properties of the engone; large running torque with motor dimensions small; mechanical characteristics falorable for reglation of output load, effort equalizing, broad regulation of the motor operating speed.

The multi-pole magnetoelectric machine (MMM) is a nonconductor a.c. motor with excitation from permanent magnets. The MMM has been successfullytried in such areas as: power engineering for wind-driven power plants with different output; automobile industry for the main part of the steering wheel gear electromechanic booster, starter-generator gear and electric brake.
