Description of the development:
() Blanks are made of single-crystal nickel-based alloys (Ni-W) and high-temperature single-crystal nickel superalloys . Formation occurs through the process of harvesting high-gradient directional crystallization ( VGNK ), which allows a uniform and finely oriented along the direction of the heat sink microstructure workpiece. Perfect single crystal microstructure of nickel superalloys able to deform plastically at elevated temperatures and under certain conditions, the nanostructure is formed . The technology allows to produce blanks for the entire range of existing working gas turbine engine blades .
