"LIGNOPAN B-4" IS A PLASTICIZING ADDITIVE FOR CONCRETE MIXES AND CONCRETE

Description of the development: () The use of singlecomponent antifreeze additives in concrete mixes with action based only on reduction in water freezing temperature leads to certain technical difficulties connected with slowing down of concrete strength increase. To prevent this negative effect it is expedient that the antifreeze additive additionally contained components accelerating of concrete setting and hardening. All these problems are successfully solved by the use of antifreeze and plasticizing "LIGNOPAN B-4" additives. Tfficlency of action of the additive is determined by three functional components in its composition:
- anfreeze that reduces the water freezing temperature;
- accelerating the kinetics of concrete mix setting and hardening (due to heat generation at early stages of concrete structure formation);
- plasticizing that allows to decrease the water-cement ration and increase concrete strength. "LIGNOPAN B-4" additive is introduced in a concrete mix to prevent destruction processes (in connection with transition of a liquid phase into a solid one) that can take place during its transportation or technological break during concrete works on a building site. Thus, introduction of the modifier allows to keep building and technical properties of a concrete mix before the beginning of thermal processing or thermostating keeping at erection of monolithic structures, manufacture of modular articles in unheated conditions, monolithing of joints and seams of modular articles and structures.
