INFLUNCE STUDY OF CHEMICAL COMPOSITION AND DEFORMATION BEHAVIOR ON PERFORMANCE PARAMETERS OF ALLOYS WITH SHAPE MEMORY (IN POLY- AND MONOCRYSTALLINE)


Purpose of the development: Development of shape memory materials for the production of fittings.

Recommended application field: Metallurgy industry

Advantages over analogues: By 0,5% is decreased the size of return deformation. Installation of fittings is carried out at an ambient temperature, instead of -196 C by the analogues. By the analogues the value of return deformation is 4%.

The development stage readiness: tested in laboratory condition

Description of the development:

As a result of the research are developed the alloys of the system Ti-Ni-Me and Fe-Mn-Me with shape memory effect, which can be used as a molding construction material for the production of fittings with complex geometric inner surface. The technological instruction of fittings' production is performed with the help of molding into ceramic form. Experimentally the types of ceramics are determined, which are suitable for molding forms. There are samples of fittings from alloys of Ni-Ni-Nb, produced by molding. There are also the characteristics of the main parameters of the fittings (the value of the return deformation-3, 5%, installation of products can be carried out at ambient temperature).
