SuperSil used in the construction of oil refineries in Perm, Yaroslavl , Ukhta in the heat treatment of welded joints of steel piping and 15H5M 08Cr18Ni10Ti heated to 1000 degrees C , as well as the body in the manufacture of equipment up to 7 m in diameter with a wall thickness up to 150 mm with heating to 1050 degrees C ( " VNIIMontazhspetsstroy " , Russia). SuperSil used in special high temperature filters ammonia- air mixture in the production of weak nitric acid (mineral nitrogen fertilizers ) . The efficiency of filters for filtering the linear velocity of 5 cm / sec at 95 % by the aerosol particles of 0.3-0.5 microns. Resource ( dust capacity ) filter system at the filtration rate of 5 cm / sec and 0.05 mg/m3 aerosol concentration was not less than 8000 hours of continuous operation . SuperSil effectively used in insulation structures fume collection systems of various heat sources ( company Elits , Russia). SuperSil recommended as elastic gaskets in structures to reduce noise penetration ( impact noise level is reduced by 2-5 dB compared with strips of foam ) . Do not contain binders. Available in rolls thickness of 4 - 25 mm , a width of 920 mm in various versions. SuperSil - web of silica fibers bonded multiple needling ; Supersilika - stitched silica fiber mats SuperSil, paneled silica fabric or aluminum foil ; Silibas - mats from a mixture of silica and continuous basalt fibers.
