Purpose of the development: Acoustically-emission system SKOP-8 is designed for screening the registration, processing acoustic emission signals and the signals on the working parameters of the object (load force, temperature and mechanical characteristics of the material at the time of study, and several others), as well as to locate the acoustic emission sources .

Recommended application field: Measurement and control system. Nuclear and thermal energy, gas and oil transport systems, aviation, chemical and petroleum industries, civil and industrial construction, etc.

Institute specialists in the field of acoustic emission diagnosis system developed GOSSTANDART "Settings respect of acoustic emission diagnosis of high-risk " and equipment for nondestructive testing of objects continuous operation . The system can be used for : monitoring and technical diagnostics of continuous operation : bridges , tanks, pressure vessels , piping , elements of bridge , gantry cranes , port hoisting mechanisms , other units and mechanisms , as well as in the laboratory for : fundamental and applied research of structural materials : static and cyclic fracture toughness , creep , plastic deformation , the birth and development of cold and hot cracking during welding , the lower the threshold stress intensity factor for stress corrosion cracking and hydrogen materials , composites research , etc. Acoustic emission system SKOP- 8 has been tested repeatedly with Ukrautodor where carried out some work on diagnosing the state of overpasses. Implemented AE - control of the state oil storage tanks ZAO pipeline "Druzhba" , state welds frames and bogies of passenger cars in the passenger wagon depot Kovel etc.
