Abstract. The analytical reference was prepared based on the results of monitoring the implementation of medium-term priority areas of innovative activity at the national level in Ukraine in 2024. The study was conducted at the Ukrainian Institute of Scientific and Technical Expertise and Information on the basis of information received from the main managers of budget funds, in accordance with the requirements of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated December 28, 2016 № 1056 (with changes), which approved the list of medium-term priority areas of innovative activity at the national level for the period until December 31 of the year following the termination or cancellation of martial law in Ukraine.
The work provides information on the financial support and effectiveness of scientific research and scientific and technical (experimental) developments carried out in 2024 on a topic that corresponds to the strategic priority areas of innovative activity with detailing the medium-term priority areas of innovative activity at the national level at the expense of the funds of the special fund of the state budget. Based on the results of the research, the most financed and effective directions of innovative activity, as well as the structural features of the created scientific and technical products, were determined.
The study is intended for government officials, experts, scientific and engineering staff, and faculty members of higher education institutions.
