Abstract. This analytical report was prepared in accordance with Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 787 of July 5, 2024, “Certain Issues of Defining Medium-Term Priority Areas of Innovation Activity at the Sectoral Level”, which approved 417 medium-term sectoral innovation priorities within eight strategic priority areas of innovation activity. The study was conducted by the Ukrainian Institute of Scientific and Technical Expertise and Information and aimed at summarizing information on the results of implementing sectoral innovation priorities based on monitoring data provided by the main administrators of budgetary funds.
The findings present an analysis of organizations engaged in innovation activities, including a breakdown by sectoral priorities, financial support for innovation by sectoral priorities, main budget administrators, and types of innovation activity, as well as the volume of innovative products commercialized across sectoral priorities. The report also provides a quantitative assessment of the development, use, and transfer of new technologies, including technologies new to Ukraine and fundamentally new technologies, analyzed by sectoral priorities and main budget administrators.
The study is intended for government officials, experts, scientific and engineering staff, and faculty members of higher education institutions.
