Abstract. The scientific and analytical note was prepared based on the results of a study of promising global scientific research areas in the field of "Mechanized and Tank Troops". The study was conducted at the Ukrainian Institute of Scientific and Technical Expertise and Information on the Web of Science (WoS) database platform using the WoS Core Collection database for publications for the period 2019-2024 that do not contain information classified as a state secret.
Based on the results of the study, the authors drew conclusions about the obtained promising areas of scientific research on the topic of "Mechanized and Tank Troops" and its components. The definition of scientific and technological trends was carried out with the aim of possible consideration of the results obtained when developing and making relevant decisions regarding scientific and technological areas of research, technical re-equipment, modernization and reform of the defense-industrial complex of Ukraine.
