ETHICAL NORMS OF COMMUNICATION WITHIN THE SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY

Abstract. The formation of the standards of the scientific community is considered – from the imperatives of R. Merton to the modern principles of scientific communication: the right to initiate scientific discourse; ensuring the reliability of published information; equality; focus on creating socially significant knowledge. Authors who violate ethical standards are subject to restrictions on participation in further scientific communication.
